Emmy Nominations (7/6/06) by Tyler:

Great news everyone! High School Musical has been nominated for an Emmy in 5 different categories with a total of 6 chances to win an Emmy. These categories include Outstanding Casting For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special, Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Directing For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Dramatic Special, Outstanding Music And Lyrics (with a nomination for both the songs "Get'cha Head in the Game" and "Breaking Free"), and Outstanding Children's Program. The 58th Primetime Emmy Awards will be live on Sunday, August 27 at 8:00 P.M. on NBC. Click here for the entire list of nominations to see who the cast is up against.

Special Airing of HSM (7/4/06) by Tyler:

There will be a special airing of High School Musical on July 17 at 8:00 P.M. on the Disney Channel. The cast will be making observations about the movie and its success along with their experiences during the filming of the movie. Awesome news everyone! It has been confirmed that Vanessa has signed her record deal with Hollywood Records. Her debut album is expected to be released on September 26, so remember that date! Make sure you support Vanessa and buy her album when it is released. Click here for the article.
